Making the move to a skilled care setting is often a stressful and difficult time for older adults and their families. It represents a coming to terms with the fact that a person has greater needs for care than can reasonably be met at home or an independent/assisted living setting. We hope to ease this transition as much as possible as we guide you through our admissions process. Some families have the time to tour many facilities and make comparisons about the aspects of living that are most important to them. Others are long-distance caregivers and are faced with the monumental task of making decisions sight unseen. In any case, we will gladly spend time with you in person, by phone, or e-mail to ensure that you are comfortable with your loved one’s move to Garden of the Gods Care Center.
